Left: Statue of Liberty. Standing on an island in the entrance to New York Harbor, representing a draped female figure carring a book of laws in her left hand and holding a torch in her right hand.
Presented to the American people in 1886 as a gift from the French people commemorating the alliance of France and the US during the War of Independence and marking the Cenenary of the United States.

Left: Central Park. One of a few spots of green in New York. Really nice atmosphere during the day.
...Philadelphia

"Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof (Leviticus 25:10)".
